Gingko seedling

Hulme Community Garden Centre is the first place in the UK to grow a Gingko seed for the mother tree in Hiroshima. After the bomb the area was devastated but seeds formed in the ground around, and they are being distributed around the world, part of the Mayors for peace project that will see the new seeds donated to local schools.
