Loving

It started with the boyfriend jean, and now it’s taken over. Topshop’s high-waisted Mom jeans are a personal favourite, but with denim in every form swamping the high street this season: oversized jackets, vintage Levi’s, bleached, black, dyed, acid or stone washed, there’s something for everyone. Just don’t make like JT and Britney who dared double denim at The American Music Awards – this trend can definitely be overdone.

Loathing

Tipped as a trend for AW13, this is a horrific attempt to bring back those dodgy lipsticks that are usually included in free gift sets. The lipstick shade of choice for most 90’s actresses, including Rachel from Friends, Alicia Silverstone and Stacey Dash from Clueless – this look definitely needs to stay in the past.
