The Wombats at AO Arena Preview – What you need to know

A preview of The Wombats’ AO Arena appearance on the 22nd of March

TLDR

The Wombats are back – embarking this week on their biggest ever UK Arena tour, their fourth stop? Manchester’s AO Arena, 22nd March.

The noughties indie darlings, staples of any decent summer, sit-in-a-field-and-drink-cider-all-day playlist, fresh from last year’s global tour and Reading and Leeds festival appearance, are taking their newest offering ‘Oh! The Ocean’ on the road.

The new album, produced stateside last summer in sunny LA is purported to be their most sonically adventurous yet, its exploration of introspective themes accompanying the band’s progression from their 2007 debut to their current status as indie stalwarts – how mature!

Fancy seeing the new, grown-up Wombats for yourself? Catch them at our very own AO Arena on the 22nd – grab your tickets here!
